(this news was actually available on Friday at cnet). In any case, am I excited? Yes, you bet. I have been a fan of the Intel line of chips as well as the IBM/Motorola PPC chips for quite some time. However, Apple is uber popular right now and making cheaper hardware will solidify their userbase as well as bringing on umpteen new customers. It's about the look and the OS for most people and it's most people who buy computers and make money for the companies. Sooooooo excited! On another note, Slashdot got Slashdotted.
