The sub woofer thumped and kicked the Cr (of YCbCr) right out of the back of the player. Admitedly it wasn't plugged in well since it's in a transition period but that's still loud!

Playing around at Dooly's today. I purchased a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens today. I really enjoy it.

While wandering around tonight I spent a good five minutes thinking about a game that was started a year ago. I wasn't really happy with the previous game design, it lacked some direction and was incomplete. Nevertheless we journeyed on and created an alpha that wasn't as much fun as I thought it would be. So it was shelved for a bit while other projects were tooled around with. While I was wandering around I did a redesign and the new result is one that I'm happy with and is going to be fun to play as well as being exciting. As soon as a few other projects are out of the way it's full steam ahead.

Normally I love THQ games but one game is going to be seriously feelin' my disdain (ewww, gross sentencification). [url=http://www.saintsrow.com/index.php]Saints Row[/url] is a 100% GTA rip off. Driving around, stealing cars, killing people...100%. Why would you make a game like this? Because the GTA name currently has a stigma among parents, grandparents, and aunts/uncles who buy it for their hyperactive gun crazy teenage sons, grandsons, nephews (remember that whole [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_Coffee]hot coffee[/url] overhype?). In anycase, the engine is a whole lot nicer with better graphics and a smoother soundtrack so at least the programmers did a good job.

I must say that, without a doubt, [url=http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0841910/]Nick Swardson[/url] is one of the greatest actors of all time. Not only does he act but he writes and produces! He plays an awesome character on "[url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0370194/]Reno 911[/url]" (and the [url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0499554/]upcoming movie[/url]) and his game in "[url=http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0456554/]Grandma's Boy[/url]" was top notch.

E3 is done for this year...look forward to my return on Saturday night (EST) and look forward to new things in the future (vague!).

So...today I'm in Tuscon Arizona! Stayed here overnight, got to play some Ultimate with some kids at University of Arizona...it was cool. The air here is really dry and it definitely takes some getting used to...I go through a lot of liquids. It's also really quiet and doesn't feel like a University town. Later today I go to Pheonix and then start the drive to LA! Hopefully tomorrow I'll have an equally exciting day.

As you all know, E3 is coming up soon and so I shall make my yearly travel to it. This year shall be a little different. On the 2nd I head to Chicago to visit the Three J ([url=http://adamriff.com]J[/url][url=http://jtwilcox.com]J[/url][url=http://jcvr.net]J[/url]). The 3rd is a visit to Indiana and a visit to Motorola folks. The 4th is going around town with either one or two of the Js (1,2) and then Miami vs Chicago playoffs game with J(1). The 5th midnight is MI3 with the Three J. Later on in the day J(3), a friend, and I start on our cross country trip to LA. The 6th, 7th, and 8th are spent driving to Arizona. On the 9th we reach LA. At night on the 9th I pickup Forest from LAX. On the 10th, 11th, and 12th we're at E3. On those same three days Forest and I shall go on many adventures. I'll see if the Lakers makre round 2 and if there's some games on while we're there I'll try to catch one of them. On the 12th J (2) arrives in LA. The 13th at noon I head for the airport and return here. So...that's what I'm doin'!

Don't care if it is Edmonton, I'm still cheering for them.
